Help
How do I open a page?
Set your password or unlock the browser first. Then tap the address bar at the bottom, enter an address or search term, and submit it. You can go back and forward, reload pages, and use the tabs button to open more tabs.
How do I get started?
The password setup screen appears on first launch. Enter and confirm a password of 8–128 characters to start browsing. If you already have a password, enter it to unlock. Choose a long password that is hard to guess. All tabs, bookmarks, history, downloads, and website logins belong to your secure space.
Will leaving erase my records?
No. Locking the browser or moving the app out of the foreground returns you to the password screen. Your protected records are available after you enter the password again. During browsing, up to four recent web tabs retain their running state. Other tabs, locking and unlocking, and app restarts reload pages from their saved addresses; unsent form content is not guaranteed to return.
What if I forget my password?
Select “Forgot password?” on the unlock screen. Read and confirm both deletion prompts, then create a new protected space. The developer cannot recover your password. Resetting removes the secure browser’s records, downloads, and website logins. You must set a new password before browsing again.
Why is protected space unavailable?
iOS requires version 17 or later. On Android, update Android System WebView or the system browser component through your device's official channel. If the engine cannot provide the required persistent storage and deletion capabilities, the browser explains the problem and stays locked. It does not bypass password protection to open pages.
Downloads and export
This version supports direct HTTP/HTTPS file links up to 25 MB each. It does not support blob downloads, DRM, offline video downloads, or background resume. All downloads stay in secure space as encrypted files; exported copies are outside your password's protection. Locking the browser or leaving the foreground cancels downloads in progress.
Why can't websites use the camera, location, or file uploads?
These website capabilities are not enabled in version 1.0. Complex websites may also be affected by system WebView compatibility. Secure Browser does not automatically open third-party apps.
How do I change the app language?
Choose “App language” on the password screen, or unlock the browser and open “Settings” → “App language” from the menu. Choose English, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Japanese, Korean, German, French, Spanish, or Brazilian Portuguese. “Follow device language” uses a supported language from your device preferences, with English as the fallback if none matches.
The setting is kept on your device. Changing it does not unlock the browser or clear browsing records. It changes the app interface, not the language of websites you visit.
